Takara Ramen Henrico

This restaurant was a wonderful experience. The service was prompt and super friendly. I got the takoyaki and the tonkatsu ramen. The takoyaki was delicious. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The tonkatsu was also amazing, with super tender pork belly and tasty toppings. I highly recommend this place!

What a delight! I had been wanting some great Ramen since we got back to the states from Thailand and this hit the spot. I tried the veggie Ramen spicy however the tofu they offer is not firm so I did not prefer the tofu. I like my tofu burnt if I am eating it, not soft. I also trued the cucumber salad and it was refreshing! I wanted more! We went during dinner time and it was getting crowded. Thankfully we were able to be seated right away.

The food been lacking lately (on the day when i went to eat at least) I've been eating here for a couple of years now, loved it. But this time the ramen broth isn't as rich or creamy as it was back then. I felt watered down. The appetizers were very good! Especially the chicken wings. I hope next time will be better!

So for my very first time, I got the chicken noodle. Thinking I was getting one thing and then it wasn’t I was confused. My step daughter takes me and her dad in there!!! HOLY COW!! Highly recommend the classic ramen with chili oil on side. You can control the heat!

Amazing ramen and unmatched service! My husband and I LOVE Takara Ramen - it’s one of our favorite spots in the Short Pump area. I can’t get enough of the spicy miso ramen, and the takoyaki always comes out so hot and delicious!

A bit Pricey but Hits Every Time. The food is savory and flavorful. You won’t be disappointed. Ive been ordering takeout for lunch for the past few weeks and have yet to be disappointed. Goto’s are the Ramen dishes. The curry is also really good. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t already.

Great experience overall! Loved the warm and welcoming service. Food is really good too. Tried these dishes and would recommend people new to this place to try them out - Veggie Ramen (try adding the Sriracha sauce to enhance flavors) Spicy Miso Ramen Tempura Shrimp Yaki Soba (this was super delicious, guessing because of the yum yum sauce haha) Pricing - decent prices, with good quantities. One bowl of ramen is satiating for one person.

I got lucky enough to come across this spot on my last day in RVA and it exceeded my expectations! I tried their spicy miso ramen, soy garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura and everything paired deliciously! It’s a great casual lunch spot and seems like a great option for dinner & drinks too. The service was excellent too and I’ll definitely have to stop by again when I’m back next time!
